Chanakya neeti says living with these types of people can invite death into one’s life

Chanakya Neeti: Acharya Chanakya life lesson

In today’s fast-paced and competitive world, we all need to be careful about the people we interact with in our daily lives. Our success and happiness depend on the people we surround ourselves with. This is a lesson that the great Indian philosopher and strategist, Chanakya, taught us through his teachings in the Chanakya Niti.

Chanakya Niti is a compilation of aphorisms and teachings by Chanakya, also known as Kautilya, who was a renowned political strategist and adviser to the Mauryan emperor Chandragupta. In one of his teachings, he advises people to be wary of four types of people they come across every day. These people can bring trouble to their lives if they are not identified in time.

According to Chanakya, these four people are a wicked wife, a treacherous servant, a false friend, and a snake. He compares living with them to inviting death into one’s life. Let’s delve deeper into these teachings to understand why Chanakya considered these four people to be dangerous.

Wicked wife:

A woman who cheats on her husband or starts thinking about other men is like a thorn in the flesh. She can betray her husband and bring dishonor to the family. Chanakya advises that it is better to leave such a wife than to suffer in hell with her. A woman who only cares about money and not family is not worth living with.

Treacherous servant:

A servant who disobeys his master’s orders or starts stealing from him is like a ticking bomb waiting to explode. Such a servant can cause a storm in one’s life by betraying the trust of his master. Chanakya suggests testing a servant’s loyalty by observing his behavior towards money.

False friend:

A true friend is one who stands by you in difficult times. A false friend, on the other hand, is someone who takes advantage of you and betrays your trust. Chanakya advises people to stay away from such false and cunning friends who can harm them.

Snake:

A snake is a deadly creature that can strike at any time. Living in a place where snakes are present is like inviting death. Chanakya warns people to be cautious of snakes and avoid places where they are likely to be found.

In conclusion, Chanakya Niti teaches us to be cautious of the people we interact with every day. A wicked wife, a treacherous servant, a false friend, and a snake can bring trouble and dishonor to our lives if we are not careful. It is better to identify them in time and avoid them to ensure a happy and successful life.
