Narada Muni wanders in search of a solution

Srimad Bhagawatham, Mahatmyam, Chapter Two Sloka 38: Vrithandaha…The munis and sadhus heard Sri Narada in rapt attention, but could not give any proper answer. Some said it was impossible to revive Gnyana and Vairagya and others were clueless.

Srimad Bhagawatham, Mahatmyam, Chapter Two Sloka 39: Mooki...Some kept quiet and mum, others said this was an impossible mission and fled from the place. Narada’s mission astounded all the three worlds.

Srimad Bhagawatham, Mahatmyam, Chapter Two Sloka 40: Vedavedanta…All the munis and sadhus were shocked and surprised that even the power of the Vedas could not wake up or revive the two souls.

Srimad Bhagawatham, Mahatmyam, Chapter Two Sloka 41: Upayo naporo…All the munis and scholars privately discussed the issue and were of the unanimous opinion that there is no solution.

Srimad Bhagawatham, Mahatmyam, Chapter Two Sloka 42: Tal kadam…If Narada Muni does not have an answer and if Gynana and Vayragya cannot be energised through the Vedas, how can other munis and people have an answer.

Srimad Bhagawatham, Mahatmyam, Chapter Two Sloka 43: Tatat chinta…Thinking deeply and tormented by the lack of a solution, Sage Narada reached Badari Ashram. There he declared that he would do penance to find a solution.

Srimad Bhagawatham, Mahatmyam, Chapter Two Sloka 44: Tawad darsha…Just before Narada Muni was to embark on a penance, he found the young and learned Sanaka Muni and his three brothers in front of him shining like a million suns. He then addressed the Sanaka brothers.

Srimad Bhagawatham, Mahatmyam, Chapter Two Sloka 45-50: Idanim…Said Narada (to the Sanaka Munis): At a time when I was worried, it is my good fortune that I met you all. Have mercy on my plight and provide me with an answer. You are all very learned and scholarly. Though you are just permanently 5 years old, you are in fact oldest of the oldest. Residing permanently in Vaikunta, you remain constantly engaged in glorifying Sri Hari. Dipped in Bhakti through the enchanting stories (of Sri Hari), you all thrive on the glory of the Lord. You are steadfast in your belief that Sri Hari is your only savour and this is why old age or death does not dare touch you. Words are not needed in your case. Just raising your eyebrows and Jay-Vijay was enough to send the guardians of Vaikunta to earth. Then by your compassion, they came back to Vaikunta after taking three births on earth. You are so great and it is my good fortune that I got your darshan at Badari ashram. Please blessed this worried soul.

Srimad Bhagawatham, Mahatmyam, Chapter Two Sloka 52-52: Asharira Girotam…The voice from heavens had hinted at spiritual practice. Pray tell me how I should interpret the same. How can I help Bhakti, Gyana and Vairagya and re-establish them lovingly in the hearts of people.
