Skandamata

Katyayini

Goddess Katyayani is known by many names in Ayurveda like Amba, Ambika, and Ambalika. Besides, she is also known as Moya. This medicine destroys phlegm, pitta and throat diseases.

Kalaratri

This deity is known as Machipatre Amishti. She is known as Mahayogini, Mahayogishwari, who is beneficial in curing all kinds of diseases and is a medicine that gives victory everywhere, which removes disorders of the mind and brain.

Mahagauri

There are seven types of Tulsi, White Tulsi, Black Tulsi, Maruta, Davana, Kudreka, Arjaka and Shatpatra. It purifies the blood and destroys heart diseases. The botanical name of basil is Ocimum sanctum. The Tulsi plant has religious and medicinal importance. Tulsi leaves are used for the prevention and treatment of cold, cough, liver disease, malaria, dental disease and respiratory diseases. Tulsi is also used as a liver tonic in many cases. It has scientific significance. Tulsi leaves are used daily in puja and consumed as prasad to get rid of serious diseases.

Siddhidatri

The ninth form of Durga is Siddhidatri, also known as Narayani Shatavari. It is useful for strength, intelligence and discernment. It is also known as Shatamooli and Satamooli. It is especially good for women. There are many varieties of Shatavari, among which green, white, and purple tri-colour Shatavari is very popular. It has vines and bushes.
